Keyboard Shotrcuts for the Print window

Post by ggprg »

Is it possible to add Keyboard shortcuts to the printing dialog window so that one can quickly choose to print current page, BW or color, jump to the pages to print box,....?
During my workday I print around 50-100 pdfs and many times I need to change the standard printing option.
Being able to change the settings without reaching for the mouse and clicking around would greatly improve my experience.
I'm a brand new user so I apologize in advance if that has been introduced or discussed already.

Thank you

Hi ggprg,

I'm afraid that's not possible. You can view a list of keyboard shortcuts here:

https://help.pdf-xchange.com/pdfxe10/ke ... ts_ed.html

Note the section at the bottom of that page that details how to view/change keyboard shortcuts in the software. There are currently only eight settings that can be customized for shortcuts in relation to printing, and none of those apper to be the ones that you want:

Sorry we couldn't help you this time.

Kind regards,

Actually, I later found out that if I press the ALT key when in Print dialog window , an underline appears under certain letters in the options.

By pressing the underlined letter and the ALT key at the same time the option gets activated.
The concept is a bit weird as there are multiple entries for the same letter.
For example, if you keep pressing ALT+R then you will cycle through option "Current" and "Reverse Order" as they have both the letter R underlined.
But it suits perfectly to my workflow.

Thank you
