Hi all,
I created a shortcut (macro) on the desktop using PdfxTools. This shortcut automatically creates a portfolio from folders that I drag onto the shortcut.
The PdfxTools macro contains a cover sheet that I created myself.
When the portfolio is created and opened, the cover sheet only contains the watermark I created.
Text and other images are not displayed in the portfolio.
What is the reason and how can I change it?
Thanks

Re: Portfolio and cover sheet
Sorry. I guess I didn't express myself clearly...
By macro, I meant the tool with the extension .pdtex.
Create a tool in PDFTools and then save it as a shortcut on the desktop.
Thanks

Hi Tobile,
Thanks - can you please share an image of the Tool Actions Sequence? I.e. the tool and its compontent actions.
Alternatively, you could export the tool to file and share it here, as detailed below:

Re: Portfolio and cover sheet
I can't attach the .pdtex file to this post. I get the error message: Invalid file extension: PDF-Tools Exchange_cover sheet.pdtex

Re: Portfolio and cover sheet SOLVED
Hello, Tobile
On your cover sheet document, are the visible text elements there "comment" items (Can they be selected with the "select comments" tool)?
If yes, that would likely be the cause of the issue here. Dynamic and comment elements are not included in cover page creations - to reduce accidental adjustments. If you are happy with the appearance of your cover page, you should use the "flatten comments" tool (from the far right side of the comments tab), to finalize the file first. Then newly created portfolio cover sheets will include these (now base content) items properly.
If they are not comments, can I ask that you please send us a copy of the PDF file you are using as the cover sheet specifically (we do not need the others, just the cover sheet file), so we can investigate further.
Kind regards,

Re: Portfolio and cover sheet
That was the key...!
Here in the German version, the magic word is “Einbetten” (embedding).
Now it works.
Thank you very much!
