In the current menu, the Process in PDF Tools… submenu item appears only for files. Thus, having a number of folders containing only files to be processed (for example, scan results), the user cannot run them for processing, but is forced to go into each one, select all the files, and only then run the process.
I think this is a missed opportunity for improved UX.

Thank you for the feedback, I will forward this to our Tools team for consideration. In the meantime, you can still use group selection with drag/drop into PDF-Tools to run a tool on a bundle of selected folders manually - which might help speed this up until we can add a shell menu option.
