Page background color for Image-based PDF

In vector-based PDFs, we can change the page background color using the Accessibility feature, which is very useful as it effectively protects our eyes. However, this feature doesn't work for image-based PDFs (see the two images below for comparison). Could a feature be developed to better support the latter?

The feature you requested should be included in ticket #6145.

• #6145: FR: Option for the accessibility colour overrides to replace any white colour (including in images) with the specified background colour

That is indeed what I was talking about. However, #6145 itself is not yet solved for now.
