The "Strings" file has some phrases that I have trouble to properly translate

• The selected page size is larger than specified

This may be interpeted as "the size of the selected page is larger than specified"
or "the selected size for a page is larger than specified (where? selected vs specified)
.

• Bead: %1

• Select article/bead to preview

"Bead" has several meanings. Without context, it is impossible to translate.

Regarding the first item:

The selected page size is larger than specified

That Refers to the option shown here:

The message appears in the context of having the "skip pages" option set to "larger than specified" in this case, the Selected/viewed page is being skipped because it is larger than the custom scaling dimensions that have been defined in the left side menu.
So in this case, it should likely be translated with some correlation to the terms your languages uses in the "larger than specified" strong to the left.

Regarding the next items:

The term "bead" is a strange one without a clear better term to be used... Here is the statement/explanation the Dev team gave me:

"Articles" (also known as "article threads") are a feature used to define the sequential flow of content, similar to how a newspaper or magazine article flows from one column or page to another.

• Article Threads: These are pathways that specify the logical reading order, especially for content that is visually separated or spans multiple non-consecutive pages.
• Beads: Each "bead" is a rectangular region (a segment or box) within a specific page that belongs to a single article thread. The user's PDF viewer follows the sequence of these beads to display the content in the correct order.
• Purpose: This feature ensures that users (especially those using assistive technologies) can follow the narrative flow of a document even if the layout is complex, by overriding the default "drawing order" of the physical page elements

Due to the inherently technical definition of the term... I am not sure it will always be possible to generate a translated term for this particular item - but I do hope the above helps!
If there is not a good substitute in your language, it may be something that could be left in English with a set of "quotes" around it?

Leaving a term in quoted English will convey no meaning to the users. I will try and find something that gives at least a hint.

So the "metaphor" for this concept/operation is one of beads that follow on from one another on the same thread - like beads on a necklace, or something similar. I'd suggest you check some technical documentation in your native language for these terms in order to confirm, but it's quite likely that the literal translations of "thread" and "bead" will be sufficient.
