When sorting comments by date in the Comments pane, it's common to want to select comments spanning multiple days. However, in PDF-XChange Editor, regardless of whether you use (A) clicking followed by Shift+clicking to select, or (B) drag selection, all comments for the last day are selected. This occurs because if the group header is included in the selection range, the entire group gets selected. If the group header is explicitly clicked, naturally all comments within that group should be selected. However, in other cases, selecting only the comments within the user-specified range seems more aligned with user expectations.
The verification video below attempts to select a total of four comments spanning two days using methods (A) and (B), after sorting comments chronologically in the Comments pane. While the groups may differ based on your computer's time zone settings, there are a total of 32 comments, each timestamped one hour apart, so some comments must span two days. It seems preferable to be able to select only the four comments, as is possible in Acrobat.
Thank you so much for your continued support.
