Maximized floating pane becomes invisible and unusable when moved to another display

Post by rakunavi »

Hello all,

In PDF-XChange Editor, any pane can be displayed as a floating window. When using multiple displays with Windows, you can move a floating pane to another display and maximize it. However, I noticed that if you drag the maximized pane by its title bar to another display, the pane becomes unresponsive and disappears except for the title bar. In this case, closing and reopening the application restores normal functionality.

The verification video below captures a single widescreen video combining two displays arranged side-by-side. Please observe that after moving any pane to the right display and maximizing it, dragging it while maximized to the left display causes everything except the title bar to disappear.

Hoping that the above information will be of some help to you.
Thank you so much for your continued support.

Best regards,
rakunavi

Hello, rakunavi

Well now, that IS a fun little bug! It also seems that the effect changes based on if the Editor is on your primary or secondary monitor. I will pass this along to the Dev team for review - Thanks for the catch!
