Hi there.
I use PDF-Xchange primarily for annotating legal documents (and have gotten my firm to adopt it office-wide for our markups).
It would be helpful to be able to constrain the "arm" attached to callouts to 90 degree angles by pressing CTRL while adjusting the arm. The reason being that we use callouts to show text insertions, similar to the way a copy editor might, so we need the insertion carat to point up or down and then bend 90 degrees right or left to get to the attached text box.
I'm attaching a simple example of what i mean, to help visualize.
Interestingly, you can already constrain polylines in this manner but not callouts.
Is this possible to implement in a future release?
Thanks,
David

Re: Feature Request: Constrain callout arm to 90 degree bend
Hello, nuflux
We already have an active feature request ticket for this (using the shift key, as that is how constraints work with the other tools)
RT#7414: Feature Request :: Editor :: Angle Locking (Shift Key) for Callout Tool
I cannot promise when, but this item is in line to be implemented in the future - I will add your voice to hopefully increase the priority here.
Kind regards,
