Same font, different object number

Post by todde94 »

Hello everyone,

How can I aggregate two fonts with exactly the same properties so that the font used only appears once?

Is it possible to display the inserted text with the second object number and then overwrite it with the original, identical font? I tried changing the object number, hoping the text would inherit the properties. However, this didn't work because the object number cannot be changed.
I tried using the "replace fonts" option, but since it's the same font, that didn't work either.

Thank you for your help!

Hello, todde94

At the moment, there is no way to do so within our software. We are looking at ways to merge similar fonts - including subsets, but due to the variance in the versions of a font that may be embedded, this is not always possible.
It has been a long term, low priority item - so I cannot offer an estimated timeline at the moment.
