Provide preview pane inside "Combine Files"

I know there's other ways to preview individual files when combining them, such as using the thumbnail pane and re-ordering, deleting them there, but often I wish the "Combine Files" dialog box also had an internal preview pane! We have the ability to move files around inside that dialog box, but no way to see what they look like!

Am I missing something?

You are not missing anything, it simply does not exist at this time. I have already passed the idea along to the dev team for consideration as a possible future improvement, but I cannot promise anything until I have heard back from them.
