Printer number of copies stuck

I use PDF Xchange to print to a number of different printers. I printed once to the one in my main office with 5 copies selected and now it is stuck on 5 copies as the default for that printer, which has resulted in me printing duplicates a few times now

I've tried closing and opening the program. I cant reinstall the printer without getting IT involved and thats a hassle at my job. I've checked the Properties on the printer thru PDF Xchange and it shows the 5 copies selected there too but if I change to 1 it doesn't change it in PDF Xchange and will still print 5 copies. If I select 1 in both it will print 1 copy, but the next time I print to that printer it defaults to 5 again.

Likewise there is another printer I print to that I selected Collate once and now it defaults to collate every time I print to that printer and I have to manually deselect collate every time.

Any help would be appreciated.

The Editor does not remember either of these fields for future prints, if those values are changed, than your printe's own drivers are telling our software that these are the default values for that profile/device, not the other way around. You will want to check the "properties" or open the windows "printers and scanners" menu, and ensure that the device's default settings are not configured to cause multiple copies, etc. After you have confirmed that, please restart the PC to ensure that no cached copy of the driver is being held by a running session of any open software.

With your help and further investigation, you are absolutely correct. It was odd that none of my other programs were defaulting to 5 Copies for that printer though which led me to believe that the issue was with PDF-Xchange. I tried changing the amount of copies by entering the printer's properties through the button in the Print Dialog in PDF-Xchange but that change did not stick. But after entering the Printer Properties through windows, it was indeed set to 5 there, and changing it back to 1 stuck and fixed the issue in PDF-Xchange.
