Hello PDF-XChange Team,
I would like to request an enhancement to the Stamp tool and Stamp Palette.
In my daily work, I use many different stamps, and most of them need to use Blend Mode = Multiply so the stamp appears natural and the document text remains readable.
At the moment, there is no easy way to:
Set Multiply as a saved default per individual stamp
Quickly switch between stamps where each stamp already has its own Multiply setting
Ensure the stamp is placed behind the existing text/content
As shown in my example (photo), using Multiply is essential for scanned company stamps and seals. Without this, the stamp often covers or damages the readability of the text.
It would be very helpful if:
Each stamp in the Stamp Palette could have its own saved Blend Mode = Multiply
This setting is remembered individually per stamp
Users can simply select a stamp and apply it with Multiply automatically
This would greatly improve efficiency when working with many official stamps.
Thank you very much for considering this request.

Re: Feature Request: Per-Stamp “Multiply” Blend Mode in Stamp Palette
Hello, r1thy
A stamp cannot have a blend mode because stamps themselves are a separate PDF file, composed of numerous elements, and different elements within that stamp could have their own conflicting blend modes with relevance to one another.
With that said, the majority of your issue would likely be resolved by using the "remove background" checkbox":
Kind regards,

With that said, the majority of your issue would likely be resolved by using the "remove background" checkbox":
- As this would ensure that the stamps solid white background is removed, and the items you place become transparent.
- You can then use the normal PDF editing tools to adjust the content items (in the case of my example, it is only a static image, but in some cases you might need to select each element with a different tool) - and enable the Multiply blend mode: Then use Ctrl+S to save the edited stamp and close that tab. The resultant stamp when placed will now allow each element to blend with other items on the page as needed:
Kind regards,
