Add-in for New Outlook?

Hello!

We have been using the add-in for Outlook for some time, and find it very useful! We have some users trying out the "New Outlook", and we are having trouble finding the add-in.

Just wanted to confirm, is the add-in supported in the New Outlook?

At this time, the "new outlook" is not able to support our previous conversion addins. This is because Microsoft has taken a new "web based" approach to the apps here, and COM addins are no longer supported. We are looking into new possibilities to offer similar functionality in the future, but at this time I cannot promise what will be available, or when.

If you need access to our addins at this time, you will need to install a local office 2023 or earlier version to make use of the fully local outlook applications.

That's kinda what I figured, I just hadn't seen it documented anywhere. Thanks for responding!

Our department has an ongoing list of "What did Microsoft ruin today", so I'll be sure to add this

Hello Rfritz,

There are still no news or changes in this regard - we still do not have a version of our add-in that can integrate with the New Outlook.
