View all bookmarks with "Search" + Reorganize the side "Quick Tools" + Change link titles

Post by kio »

Good morning:

1.
I have a PDF with 1,500 bookmarks.
If I use the "magnifying glass" tool and search for one, for example, "Gn" (see photo 1),
Yes 'search'.png
I notice that the "child" bookmarks of "Gn" aren't displayed, so I can't select them. For example, I can't select "Gn chapter 30."

So my magnifying glass search is "useless", because I have to manually browse through the entire 1,500 index to find it:
for example, "Gn chapter 30" (see photo 2).
No 'search'.png

2.
Is it possible to rearrange not only the "quick tools" at the bottom (see photo...
Quick tools.png
[using "options", removing the ones I don't need: in fact, in the photo, I only left 4])

...but also the "quick tools" on the left side?

Note: I don't want to remove the entire "Quick Tools" toolbar on the side (I know I can do that),
but I just want to remove the ones I don't use, as I did in the photo, where I only left 4.

3.
After I create the link titles, I saw that I can't change them in any way:
titles.png
is there already an option to change them, and if not, could it be inserted?

Thanks.

Hello, kio

Thank you for the suggestions.

1. This request has been raised at least once before, and for the time being the current handling is intended. But, I will ask the team to consider it again.
2. All toolbar items can be re-organized while the "customize UI" window is opened. You can access the customize UI menu from the top right corner of the software:

3. If you open the Properties panel (Ctrl_~) you will see the following option when you have a link selected, which can be used to access and edit the link target:

1.
thanks.

2.
thanks:
I took the side icons of "quick tools" and dragged them 1 by 1 to the center of the "customize UI menu", and they disappeared:
I knew this could be done with all the other interface icons at the top,
but I didn't know that it could also be done for the side "quick tools".

3.
No, I don't mean the "destination", but the name of the "title",
for example, in the photo above, the title "26.1 26.1" or "le le":

Hello, kio

#3 - My apologies, though in that case... The "title" is not intended to be customizable, Link items in PDF do not actually hold such a value inherently. The title is filled based on the page text that is present in the link area, and if you move the link to a new location, the text will be updated dynamically to reflect what is relevant to its new location:
