Create a signable form that nots a "digital signature"?

Post by ahickmang »

Is there a way to create a signature form that, when interacted by the signee, it does require an official digital signature, but moreso will allow them to type their name and it looks like a signature? Similar to how docusign works (which I've looked into and don't want to use due to some limitations). I know it's not "official" possibly, but I know 100% of my clients will have no clue how to do this, but they can type their name.

Hello, ahickmang

Signature field handling is up to the recipient and the application they are using. In our Editor, anyone filling in a form with a signature field can click on that field, and be presented with their existing certificate options - then they can customize the appearance template so that only a "written" signature appears visually:

It is not possible for the field to indicate in any way that it wants to have a visual element of this sort in place - it can only indicate where the visual elements placed by the signing application, should exist.

Kind regards,
