Is there any update on ticket #6245 since 2022 ?

It would really be helpfull to be able to set the icon size for those we use the most. Every user will use different icons, so being able to personalize them would be awesome. For now, when resizing the width of the window seems to enlarge the icons randomly, and most of all it seems to enlarge those I rarely use

I am sorry to say that while there have been many additional notes of support for this ticket over the years, and it is assigned a development work item number, it remains a low priority topic, as there are many more pressing matters to attend to.

I cannot promise any changes coming in this area at this time, but will keep this in mind.

Thanks for the comment Roger... I've just gotten used to it at this point, but it is indeed a bit annoying to not be able to at least force which icons remain large and which ones are reduced in size.... There are few programs on Windows that allow you to set the scaling in the app freely, instead of having to change the DPI in the Windows settings.

Customizing the toolbar, including forcing a smaller icon size, and adding the ability to draw curved lines are my top two most anticipated features (see my signature). I’m just commenting to express my interest, hoping this will be implemented within the next year or so.

A built-in tool to draw curved lines is in the works (viewtopic.php?t=41916) but until then:

This tool will convert a polyline, polygon or rectangle into a curved line, either as a polyline, or as an ink annotation. It allows you to set a 'radius' to limit the size of the curve.

2. Ability to draw curved lines: viewtopic.php?p=178335

- Groups of objects so I can have multiple arrows, blocks of text, etc
- When I send a PDF to a co-worker with a custom stamp, it remains a stamp. Even if they do not have that stamp saved to their system. As a workaround until grouped objects are available.

- Textboxes with multiple arrows

Low priority:
- GUI mode that has everything no more than one level down to encourage use of features by non-power users. Or something like it.

Please save us from PM's Printing out PDFs, red-lining / marking up the page, so I have to then scanning it back in to use PDF tools.

If there is no intentional relation to this icon size feature request, I will split these posts into their own topic for you.

Moving on to your suggestion, I can pass this along, but I should note that it is highly unlikely we will be entertaining the idea of making all options accessible with only 1 level of option depth. To do so would make it near impossible to read or locate anything in the UI, due to the sheer volume of functions we have. Multiple levels of nesting, on top of context sensitivity, is required for software which is as complex as ours is.

With that said, our UI is fully customizable, so if you wish to create a UI configuration that accomplishes this and only shows the tools which you or your users need access to, that is most definitely possible.
