[Bug] "Move file.." doesn't remember the last location

"Move file" defaults back to "download" directory/location every time when it is executed. Even though a different directory was selected, "move file" would still go back to "download". Please fix this bug. Otherwise, the directory has to be changed manually every time.

I have the impression that it defaults to the "Original Document Folder" (tried it on different/multiple open document tabs).

Maybe a +1 for the "Last Used Folder" or even make it dependent from the "Select destination folder for 'Save As' documents" in File > Preferences > Documents > Save Documents.

Yes, currently this feature Defaults to show the current folder in which the active file exists. I do not believe this is open to changes, but I will pass the suggestion along to see if we can consider it in the future.

You are right that, currently this feature Defaults to show the current folder.

However, this is definitely a bug. If you want to "move" a file, why showing the current folder? Move from current folder to current folder? that is useless.

Myself, I would not immediately call it a bug but rather something that can be made better.

What would you personally prefer ? Remembering its own "Last used folder", or use the "Save As" preferences ?

"Last used folder" makes most sense so that multiple files can be moved into the same directory.
