In PDF-Tools, free text entry is disabled, and only values ​​from a drop-down list are available.

While I would like to see a dynamic drop-down list suggesting languages ​​as you type, given the choice between the two current implementations, I would suggest making PDF-XChange Editor the same as PDF-Tools, thereby eliminating the inconsistency in the appearance and functionality of an identical tool.
