is OCR processed locally? SOLVED

Hello PDF-XChange Team,

I would like to know, if the current enhanced OCR plugin (the new OCR Plug-In by ABBYY) is processing locally on the system or does it use any network/server infrastructure?
I've seen the thread Data Privacy, but I'm not sure, if it's up to date and valid for the (current) enhanced OCR plugin.

Yes, all data is processed on your device locally, no files of yours are ever sent to our servers unless it was a clearly manually initiated process, like using the "report a bug" feature.
The same applies to third party services like sharepoint, or Docusign, you need to manually sign into those services before access to them is facilitated through the intentional use of those related features.
