Multiple export gives system.AccessViolationException

Post by lidds »

Hi,

Within my application, I have an export feature that will do the following:

1. Collect all PDF documents.
2. Import all comment .fdf files relating to the document.
3. Run some JavaScript to remove comments that do not have a specific approval status.
4. Save the document.

The code was working without any issues until I upgraded to the latest version of PDFXChange.

I cannot get the files to export and gives me the following error:
AccessViolation.png
This is affecting 8 customers and I have no idea where to start with resolving this.

As you can see this seems to happen on a “cmd.saveAll” command.

Instead of using the PDFXChangeEditor SDK to perform the export feature, is there another way? Maybe using the Core feature instead?

I would really appreciate any help as my customers are chasing me.

I really appreciate any help you can provide.

Thanks

Simon

Hi Sean,

I was just wondering if your development team have had a chance to look at this?

Thanks

Hi Simon,

My colleague Sean has forwarded your case to our developers, but at the moment there is no update on the matter.

We will notify you as soon as there is any development on this case.

Regards.

Hi Dimitar,

Thank you for getting back to me with an update.

Just out of interest do you provide a paid level support service that I could possibly use as i currently have around 200 users affected by this and am unsure how to resolve. If you do offer such a service please email.

Thanks

Simon

Hello, lidds

We do not have any "paid support tiers" I am sorry to say, we have a small team who is available when they are able. I have heard back now, and they are requesting a copy of your application, as well as a crash dump from when your app crashes. You can upload those both here: https://files.pdf-xchange.com/s/DTnZCRn5rEdB5GJ

Please let us know when the upload is completed.
