Hello,
I just purchased the app, but from the start I am having trouble with certified digital signatures. Is this a common issue, or am I missing something? Everything is fine in the beginning, I pick the option, then the windows pops out where I select the certificate and signature layout, type in password, but then this error jumps.

Can you please try testing this with some other digital signatures, in order to rule out the possibillity that the issue is the signature that you're using?

Hi, thanks for the reply.
I only have two certificates installed, from which one is for identification while the other is signature. Tried them both but it wont work.
I am using "Place signature" function, but it wont work with other commands as well (sign doc., certify, certify invisible etc.). I am testing this in a new, blank pdf so there shouldn't be any corruption in that regard.
I am also using CAdES signing format, but it doesn't work with that, nor with the PKCS#7.
Thing is, it works with adobe reader and foxit, but I wanted to use only 1 app for editing and signing pdf's.

I remembered my ID card can also be used for digital signing so I tried with it, but I get the same error.

Thank you for clarifying, I have escalated this issue to our Dev team for review, and will keep you posted on their feedback. At the moment it looks like there are some known issues with some CERTILIA certificates, which might be what you are encountering at the moment.

Thanks for the reply. Certilia compatibility could be the issue, but right now it won't work with my other certificates as well.

I successfully used the certificate for 2 years, after which it expired. I then received a new card, and that’s when I started encountering this error. I’ve tried various solutions, including reinstalling the entire computer, but nothing has helped. The error has been present for more than 2 months.
Signing in Adobe Acrobat DC works normally. I’m available if any additional information is needed—I just hope this gets resolved as soon as possible.

I am sorry to say that at this point, the investigation is delayed while we await the physical hardware necessary to reproduce and further investigate the issue.
For the time being, I am sorry to say that I do not have a solution or workaround to offer.
