Correct me if I am wrong but it seems to me that if I create a new document, the document shows this tab:
Now if I don't want to close this tab but rather save it as proper file with a name of my choosing, I select the Save As... tool and it is saved as named. However, the tab is still showing:
and it is really still the same file even though it has been given a name and saved. If I continue without closing that tab and try to open the newly-created named document nothing happens because it is already open in the New Document tab. Fair enough. But am I wrong in expecting the tab name to change to the new file name? And the tab continues to show an asterisk signalling that the file has not been saved whereas it actually has been saved.
Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated.

Re: Update Tab Label After "Save As"
Hello, PHK
The Default name for the document when using "Save As" is "New Document" so it is possible that you have just saved it with that specific name? If you change the name before saving, the title bar does indeed update to show the new name in my tests.
Could I perhaps as for a video recording of your process here? And of course, as always, are you fully up to date and running V.10.8.5?
Kind regards,

Re: Update Tab Label After "Save As"
Sorry, but now neither can I reproduce it for illustration purposes; it seems to work as expected.
If it was not a one-off, I will try to reproduce it if it happens again.
Thanks for taking the time to check me on this, Daniel.
