I would like to report a minor UI inconsistency regarding the tooltips in the "Split Pages" dialog.
In the main editor window, when rulers are enabled, dragging a guide line from either the ruler or the document area displays a tooltip showing the exact position of the guide.
While the "Split Pages" dialog uses a very similar UI, the tooltip only appears when dragging a split line within the document area. When you start dragging a split line directly from the ruler, the tooltip does not appear.
I believe showing the tooltip when dragging from the ruler (consistent with the main editor's behavior) would improve the overall UI consistency of the application. I understand this is a very minor detail, but I wanted to bring it to your attention as it would enhance the user experience.
I have attached a video below for reference:
- First half: Shows tooltips appearing correctly when dragging guide lines from the ruler in the main editor.
- Second half: Shows tooltips failing to appear when dragging split lines from the ruler in the "Split Pages" dialog.
Best regards,
