PDF XChange files loaded into Adobe Acrobat Reader

I am using the new version 11 and have loaded a file with very many comments into Acrobat Reader. Unfortunately all comments with replace text are differently displayed in the Reader. There they are displayed as simple comments but not as text replacements. The book file with about 2000 different types of comment (replace selected text, insert text) shall be used on a Macintosh (Apple) to edit an Indesign book projekt. PDF XChange does not run on Apple software. Do you think there will be not problem using the book file on a Mac? What is your recommendation?

PDF software on Mobile and MacOS devices has a turbulent history - so I cannot say with confidence that it would be good or bad. All I can assure you is that any actions performed with our software adhere to the PDF specification. So long as the software being used properly understands the Specification, and offers the features required to perform the tasks you are looking to perform, it should go well.
