I have noticed a critical UI issue regarding the new Custom Dialog feature introduced in Version 11.0.0.
When displaying the dialog in View mode set to "Details", resizing the rightmost column (the "Attribute" column by default) by dragging its right edge results in a completely reversed and broken behavior compared to the OS standard.
Note: The column width does not update in real-time during the drag; the changes are rendered only after releasing the mouse button.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Open the Custom Dialog and set the View mode to "Details".
- Hover the mouse cursor over the right edge of the rightmost column tab (Attribute column).
Please note that when dragging, it is easy to mistake the right edge of the rightmost column tab for the edge of the right-hand pane in the dialog (with the preview in the top right and properties in the bottom right), so be sure to drag the right edge of the rightmost column tab. - Drag to the Left and Release: The column width counter-intuitively expands instead of shrinking. At the same time, the horizontal scrollbar handle becomes small, indicating the internal column width is expanding.
- Drag to the Right and Release: The column width counter-intuitively shrinks instead of expanding. At the same time, the horizontal scrollbar handle becomes big, indicating the internal column width is shrinking.
- Dragging left should shrink the column width.
- Dragging right should expand the column width.
I have attached a short video demonstrating this issue (showing the rendering results after releasing the mouse).
Thank you for your hard work on this great software.
Best regards,
