Hello, PHK

Just incase you (or anyone else reading this) did not know, we do now have a preview program which you can sign up for, if you are looking to test newer releases and offer feedback before they go live. It only requires that you have a valid maintenance plan to enter.
If you have not yet done so, you can use the popup button on your account page to sign up. If you have already dismissed that message, you can email [email protected] to request entry to the program.

Beyond that, it is notable that majority of extended issue experienced with the V11 release were in relation to the update process, specifically, due to the changed paths - of which, accurate testing in varied environments is more difficult to get reliable information on, and the preview program was unable to test due to its intended implementation allowing installation without affecting your existing install.
We are working to revise the updater itself to allow for better testing of these processes, it was not at all intended for V11.0 to be a "beta" style release. I am sorry to say that none of the major issues reported by users like yourself thus far reared their heads during our internal pre-release testing. If they did, the release would most definitely have been delayed before going live. These are cases exacerbated by unique use cases, varied customizations, and other environmental variables which were not properly predicted as potential issues.

Kind regards,
