Compare PDFs

Hello,

I’m new to PDF-XChange Editor and I’m very interested in the Compare Documents feature, as I frequently receive multiple versions of the same document.

Today, I tried comparing two PDFs, but I found the results somewhat difficult to review. The changes (i think?) were highlighted in yellow and accompanied by numerous comments, which felt a bit overwhelming.

Is there a setting or viewing mode that provides a more intuitive display, similar to Microsoft Word’s Track Changes feature or litera? Ideally, I’m looking for something that would show deleted text in red with strikethrough formatting and additions in green, or a similar easy to handle visual markup.

At the moment, I find the default presentation somewhat confusing, although I’m not sure whether I’m simply missing a setting or misunderstanding how the tool is intended to be used.

What you are seeing is effectively all there is to it at the moment. You can adjust what is visible to some degree from the filter dropdown menu at the top of the display area, but otherwise it is still fairly basic.
I will pass along this feedback, and your mentioned comparisons for the Dev team to review and see what can be done however.
