Update causes problems (printer, embed annotations)

Post by ThomasABC »

Since yesterday's update, we have been experiencing the following problems:
1. We use "PDF-XChange Lite" as a printer driver and have set up many corresponding layouts for it in AutoCAD. This driver has now disappeared; instead, "PDF-XChange Printer Lite" has appeared, but our layouts are missing from it. Consequently, we have to set them up again on every computer. Is there a solution for this?
2. In multi-page PDFs where I have added notes and stamps, the editor now crashes after scrolling through a few pages-specifically after I have locked the changes for recipients using the "Embed annotations" function. This has occurred in several documents. The locked document could be viewed without any problems using a different PDF reader.

We don't know how to undo the update. Is there a guide for this?
Greeting and thanks
Thomas

Hello, ThomasABC

Thank you for the email, Issue #1 is being investigated currently, and hopefully will not be an issue in the future. For the moment I am sorry to say we do not have a solution, or a way to restore the old settings.

For issue #2, I cannot seem to reproduce this. Could I ask you to please email [email protected], with a link to this forum post, and a copy of the most recent "PXC" crashdump that was generated here: %localappdata%\Crashdumps

Kind regards,
