I would like to submit a feature suggestion for future versions of PDF-XChange Editor:
Suggestion:
The ability to select all pages to which a specific watermark has been added.
Use Case:
I regularly work with PDFs (approx. 30–200 pages) and first mark the pages that may need to be deleted.
Current workarounds and limitations:
• Background color: Works only with “true” PDFs; for scanned documents (image content), the highlight is not visible because it lies beneath the image layer.
• Watermark: Visually reliable, as it lies above all layers. However, there is no option to select all pages marked in this way collectively (e.g., multiple non-contiguous page ranges).
• Stamps/comments: Selection is possible via “Pages with Annotations,” but this is cumbersome and involves several intermediate steps.
Benefits:
A direct selection function for pages with watermarks would significantly simplify preselection and editing (e.g., deletion).
I am currently using PDF-XChange Editor Plus, version 11.0.1.0.
Thank you very much for reviewing this.
