Saw a post about this from 2009 and it seems it couldn't be fixed back then.
There is the option to get this sorting using summarize comments so why not in the comments pane?
It gets messy when you have 20+ comments on a page that are created at random times
Next best solution I've found is to change the selection color to a more contrasting color like red (default gray is barely visible, especially if you have gray comments). This works pretty well when selecting a comment in the comments pane, both the comment on the page and in the comments pane get a a square in the selected color. For some reason this does not work the other way around.
Selecting a comment on the page will change it into selected color but comment box in pane gets the standard gray box.
So all n all I haven't been able to find any easy and good way to select a comment on a page and quickly localize it in the comments pane.
Is there any development in the loop?
Is there a good/better way of doing this?
