Feature Request: Merge Pages Options

Some PDF-XCE tools have the provision to save Settings options for easy recall in subsequent operations such as this in the Resize Pages tool.

It would be a nice UI enhancement to have this in more tools, specifically at least in the Merge Pages tool. If there were such a facility, I would not need separate horizontal and vertical tools as I had suggested a while back.

This has been a useful addition and is appreciated.

However, I am wondering if this can be pushed a bit further. That is, I would like to have shortcutable tools for each horizontal and vertical merge functions.

In my workflow, I am frequently merging pages alternately vertically and horizontally. That is I might merge one set of three pages vertically, another of four pages, and another of five pages and the merge those three merged new pages into one horizontal page, for example. And then repeat the process for different page sets. It is annoying to have to go into the single Merge Pages tool and then alternately select vertical or horizontal each time.

So, just as we are able to split the window views horizontally and vertically

I would like to merge pages with separate tools for horizontal and vertical.

I like the enthusiasm, and in the meantime, you can simply make profiles for the variants. I can raise it with the dev team, but as usual, I cannot promise an implementation.
