Questions about the custom menu bar in PDF-XChange Pro Editor Ver. 11.0.1.0

Post by mibri3944 »

Hello Users,

I've created my own ribbon. Now I'm having a few problems. My ribbon is different from the original one. I've already contacted support—they're very knowledgeable—but I'm not getting anywhere. Maybe there's someone online who can help me.
I've attached a PDF describing my problem.
Thank you very much in advance.
Michael

Hello, mibri3944

I am sorry you had trouble speaking with my colleagues about this. To rename a toolbar, you need only open the customize UI menu, locate that toolbar item, and click the "rename" buttton:

As for adjusting the size/position of the icons, this is not possible, but the UI will automatically "reflow" the toolbar when it becomes too full for the available space, as an example:

If you want to force certain break points to have a priority (where it would actually result in space savings, you can right click on an item to add a "separator":

And then right click on that separator to make it into a hard breaking separator:

Note that in the example above, the hard breaking separator has no notable change on the functionality or collapse size/timing, it can have an impact in many scenarios.

Kind regards,
