I routinely work with multipage tiffs which I need to convert to multipage pdfs. I am using the trial version and whether I buy a license will depend on the ability to do it. When I use the trial version, only the first page is converted. I am able to do it with other software but I am considering replacing it with PDF-Xchange. Is there a licensed version that will work?
Thanks!
Jim

Re: Convert Multipage Tiff To Multipage Pdf
Hello jmarsh09,
The only limitation of the free evaluation version is that it adds demo stamps and watermark links to the output. There are generally(*) no functional restrictions that would prevent you from using the software unless you purchase a license (such as limiting the conversion of a multi-page TIFF file to the first page only).
(*) The only exception is the Enhanced OCR (EOCR) feature, which has a trial period restriction of up to two weeks (14 days). For more details on this, you might find this post helpful.
Assuming you are using the correct procedure, if the conversion is failing in the free version, the result will likely be the same in the licensed version. Therefore, if you wish to maintain your current multi-page TIFF creation environment as is, or if you plan to use existing files, I recommend that you thoroughly test the software with your own files using the free trial version before deciding to purchase a license.
As shown in the attached videos, PDF-XChange Editor offers two distinct methods for image conversion, which likely utilize different internal parsing routines (For more details, see this post). If your TIFF file fails with one method, the other might serve as a viable workaround:

- File Tab → New Document → From Images

(Note) The display issues that occur when these two TIFF files are loaded—although they are likely unrelated, given that the formats are completely different—are slightly similar to the PNG file issues discussed in a previous topic in terms of how they manifest and the fact that only the beginning portions of the images are displayed.
