HIGHLIGHT TEXT Tool not working sometimes

About half the time I try to use the Highlight Text Tool it does not seem to highlight the text I select. When I select the text to be highlighted the cursor draws a temporary box as I select the text then it disappears as soon as I release the cursor. These seems to happen on pdfs that I download from webinar presentations and those that I have scanned myself...

the default tool to highlight text is "text content" dependent, and in many documents, seemingly about half of your own files - content can be "image" or "shape" based instead.

In such cases, look to the Comment tab, and we offer two other highlight tools you can use to highlight without a text content dependence:

Yes, Dan, thank you for the quick reply... I figured out shortly after I posted the question that I need to use the "Highlight Area" tool to do what I wanted... That works fine for what I needed...
