PDF Tools: Administrative Configuration

Hi all

did i get this right from the SysAdmin documentation, that these are all of the options for administrators to override user settings / protect settings to be overridden by users?

• there are 25 policies (https://help.pdf-xchange.com/sysadmin/i ... icies.html) / registry keys that can be used to override user settings with admin settings.
• in the preferences (https://help.pdf-xchange.com/sysadmin/i ... ences.html) displaying the "settings interfaces" for these categories (https://help.pdf-xchange.com/sysadmin/i ... ames2.html) can be turned on/off

Are the more related options?

Specific question: Turning off the "JavaScript" Category in the preferencies policy does only hide the UI element, it actually does not change (disable) JavaScript, correct (knowing it wouldn't make much sense for the tools anyway)?

Hi Alpenblick,

Yes, you're correct on all counts. There are no other related options. Disabling the JavaScript preferences simply disables the option to change JavaScript settings; it does not affect JavaScript in any documents.
