Selecting the top layer (image) and creating a PDF document

Is there a way in PDF-XChange Editor to select all pages without having to Ctrl-click each one individually? (I am referring to working in the main view rather than the thumbnails pane; if I use Ctrl+A in the thumbnails pane, the resulting new document includes all layers—including the background, which I specifically want to exclude because it is dark.)
I only need the top-level content from the PDF pages (the images/text, without the other underlying layers).
Currently, to achieve this, I have to Ctrl-click every page in the main view—which is very tedious—and then create a new document (Create > From Clipboard) to ensure only the top layers are included.
Is there a way to simplify this process of creating a new document from a book? Ctrl-clicking every page is exhausting, especially since I process a large number of books.
If there isn't currently a keyboard shortcut for selecting these layers across the entire book at once, could you please add this much-needed feature?
