A long time ago in the thread below I asked about the ability to have multiple independent instances of your ActiveX control inside my application. See below.

Do you now support this?
My use case is this: In my Windows Desktop application, I use your control in two places. One as a full PDF Editor and the second as just a Preview window. It would be nice to keep them completely separate. I've managed to make it work currently, but just updating the control as I move from one context to the other. But multiple instances would be great.

Re: Multiple Instances
Hi Jeff.
Unfortunately, you can't make that separation within a single process. Even if you have two different instances of PXV_Control objects, they still share same preferences/settings, and they use the same PXV_Inst object-singleton. Also they must live in the same UI-thread.
The only way to separate them is to put one of them into another sub-process. That is doable, but it's difficult for sure...
Cheers.

Re: Multiple Instances
Ok. Thanks for the update. I'll just keep doing it the way I am now. No big deal. But separate would be nice.
