Hello, we are actively migrating to Intune from a Domain, and it looks like the license is no longer applied to the software once the laptop was enrolled in Intune.
In this case, is it best to deregister the machine and re-register it? It is the same laptop, just now in Intune vs. the local profile on the domain.

Re: Moving to Intune from Domain - License Not Registering
Hi, kg_tech
the key should not change if you have the same user profile. Do your users have new profiles after the move to InTune? Ultimately the license if applied per user lives in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\PDF-XChange\Vault for per user licensing and HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\PDF-XChange\Vault for per machine licensing. See here for details: https://help.pdf-xchange.com/sysadmin/per-machine-or-per-user-and-wi.html
I think for InTune, the simplest approach would be a per machine key, most easily achieved by passing the key to the installer: https://help.pdf-xchange.com/sysadmin/d ... ntune.html

Re: Moving to Intune from Domain - License Not Registering
I think it created a new user profile when the machine was migrated to Intune, we noticed it removes any Microsoft Store apps, and a lot of settings get reset except OneDrive/Edge backups.
For this particular machine, if I de-register will that free up a license so that I can re-add it?
We will be sure to deploy on a per machine basis. Thankfully we have only been testing PDF-XChange and have not done a full rollout yet and will wait until everyone has been migrated to Intune first.

Hello, kg_tech
Yes, for this purpose, de-registering the license from the old "device" through your portal should work to resolve the issue. Please let us know if you experience any further troubles.
Kind regards,
