Unnecessary screen transitions are displayed when changing to another document in full screen mode

Hello all,

In PDF-XChange Editor, switching to another document in full-screen mode momentarily cancels full-screen mode, switches to another document, and then immediately returns to full-screen mode. This may not be exactly true, but at least that is what it looks like to me. Such unnecessary screen transitions are an eyesore, even if only momentary. This is especially noticeable when the UI color is changed to a dark theme, as in the video. Hopefully one day the transition will be smoother.

I would like to bump this thread. This report was made on May 27, 2024, and the problem is still present today in PDF-XChange Editor v11.

When I work in full screen mode (F11) and switch to another document tab, including with Ctrl+Tab, the Editor briefly drops out of full screen, shows the document in a normal window, and then returns to full screen. It happens every single time I change documents, and it is very distracting, especially when switching between documents frequently.

More than two years have passed since this was forwarded to the developers, and the behavior has not changed through several major versions. Could you please let us know whether a fix is planned, and if so, is there an estimated release or date when it will be resolved? If there is any workaround or hidden setting in the meantime, I would be glad to hear about it.
