Feature Request: path multipoint selection

Post by FelixPDF »

Would be nice to be able to select multiple points of a path object at ones to move/shift/edit them together.

Usecase: moving the bottom points together further down without moving the upper ones, so the upper and lower have stay visually the same without the need to touch and move each point individually.

Hi Felix,

I've passed this feature request on to the development team for consideration.

Kind regards,

Here is a "stretch" javascript function that allows groups of points to be moved. Unselected ones remain anchored.
There is the main toolbar add-in but there are some other functions in the add-in menu.
Overall, it is a bit of a work around.

Select the polygon you want to edit.
Select/click the stretch icon.
Numbered squares appear at the points appear at the vertex
A draw rectangle (can be changed to a polygon in the menu) over the points you want to edit
Drag the selected points (they move as a group.
Select/click the stretch icon when done.
