Page Rendering Slower Than Adobe Reader

I have noticed on occasion PDF-XChange Viewer being significantly slower rendering pages than Adobe Reader. I tried making adjustments under Preferences- Rendering but did not see an improvement. What practical steps can I take to make PDF-XChange Viewer closer to Adobe Reader's speed? I am using PDF-XChange Viewer Pro, Version 2.0 (build 38.1). Thanks for your feedback!

Page rendering speed will depend on the file.
You could post a file or a link to one that is slow in PDF-XChange.

Apart from that, try playing with some of the settings on the performance tab.

Thanks for the suggestion. Since the files are related to my company, I unfortunately cannot post them so I'll need to experiment a bit more.

There will always be exceptions to every rule - sometimes Adobe will present you a better result than we do and other times we will - it depends on many factors, your hardware, softeware installations and also the files you are viewing.

There are a lot reasons which may degrade perfomace, and I'm not sure that it is possible to know all of them. Also, not all of them may be corrected by adjusting settings. We need some sample file's which reproduce problem and your PC configuration to help solve this. Best way to do this - use Help -> Report a problem... from Viewer menu.
