Re: PDF-Xchange Viewer Pro Help Report
You are right (for now at least) some of the content within this file cannot be viewed/accessed by the FREE PDF-XChange Viewer (and by the way - these are not all exactley mainstream file content issues !)
Now would you care for me to set you some test's for tasks that cannot be done in the FREE Acrobat Reader that can be done in the FREE PDF-XChange Viewer?
We do not say we can do everything that Adobe can do - we have tried to do is cherry pick the most useful features (on a progressive and ongoing basis) to add to our Viewer without excessively sacrificing performance/functionality - and will continue to do so - that will fit most users needs.
If it were just another 'me too!' Adobe Reader - what would be the point?

If posting files to this forum - you must archive the files to a ZIP, RAR or 7z file or they will not be uploaded - thank you.

Now would you care for me to set you some test's for tasks that cannot be done in the FREE Acrobat Reader that can be done in the FREE PDF-XChange Viewer? I am NOT using the free product, I purchased Xchange Viewer PRO,early in the development cycle because I wanted the features you were to offer in that product. I'm extremely satisfied with PRO and I recognize that more features are still to be implemented. But, why can't PRO open the file?

Re: PDF-Xchange Viewer Pro Help Report
It was already discussed on forum. This file is in new PDF format, contains collection of pdf and media files. This format is not yet supported by PDF-XChange Viewer. You need Adobe Viewer 8 or 9.

Re: PDF-Xchange Viewer Pro Help Report
Thanks for the prompt response. I didn't pick up on the issue you raised, the new Adobe Format. I'm looking forward to your support of that format since I really don't want 200MB Adobe on my drive.

Re: PDF-Xchange Viewer Pro Help Report
In these days of 200 Gbyte drives, 200 Mbytes is really no problem. Just leave it there for the occasions that you do need it, and launch it from the button in the bottom right corner of PDF-XChange. I am sure that it will be years before all possible PDF files open in PDF-XChange Viewer, if it ever happens at all. As stated by Tracker Support, it is not their aim to produce a clone of Adobe Reader. Then PDF-XChange will also be 200 Mbytes and slow to load — so what would be the point?
