Can I use crop, extract, etc. in the free version?

I'm trying out PDF-XChange Viewer and understand from the help file that the PRO features can be used in the free version, although an indelible watermark will be affixed if they are. However clicking on the "Crop pages" menu pick or using the shortcut key combination doesn't do anything. Am I missing something? Thanks.

Do you have the latest version? Version 39 RC2 is the latest build at the moment. I can crop pages with the free version.

Thanks - that worked! It's strange, since I had PDF-XChange check for updates before I made my post, and it said I had the latest version.

I suspect you had RC1. See this announcement thread

That's one of the side-effects of testing the latest versions before they become final releases. They are all build 39, so I guess check for updates is not going to find a newer build.
