Displaying square boxes instead of letters

I'm trying out Xchange Viewer, but it is displaying square boxes instead of letters. the documents display correctly with Acrobat Reader.
It seems to only occur with pdf's created using Bullzip PDF Printer (Version 5.0.0.594). Pdf's created with other programs render fine.
I'm using the portable Xchange Viewer, ver 2.0(build 39) RC1.
Windows XP Pro 32-bit.

Any ideas how to solve this problem?

Upgrade to the latest version: Build 39 Final Release

Thanks Bhikkhu, that's now working a treat!
I had initially downloaded the portable version and that one is still at RC1 stage. Will the portable version be updated to Final Release?
