Hi,
I really enjoy using PDF-XChange Viewer and it's simply the best viewer I've tried. But there is something lacking and that is the ability to move the page left and right using the keyboard. Currently the left and right cursor keys go to next and previous page (which is a good feature), but if you have zoomed the page and want to move it left and right, you have to use the mouse which is a bit anti-climatic. I think it's a good idea to assign Shift+Left and Shift+Right to do this (like Foxit Reader does). Since this seems to be something easy to implement, I hope I will be soon able to enjoy it in the next release of the lovely PDF-XChange Viewer.
Another thing that had better be changed is the 'zoom keys' in the Full Screen view. Since in this view the + and - keys on the keypad do not have any functions themselves, you could reassign the Ctrl++ and Ctrl+- functionalities to simply + and - keys. That would make things easier and more pleasant.
All the best,
Helvib.

Re: Feature Request: Moving the page left and right by keyboard
The keyboard is fully customisable in PDF-XChange. I have already assigned the zoom in and zoom out functions to "+" and "-"
I didn't yet find any command to scroll left and right — maybe it is there somewhere. IIRC they said they will implement Shift + Scrollwheel to scroll horizontally.
Anyway, you can do it very neatly with the Pan and Zoom Window, which I have assigned to "z"
To open the customise dialogue, right-click on any toolbar and select the Commands tab on the dialogue. Select the command you wish to modify, e.g. Tools, Pan and Zoom tool, then click on Properties to enter a shortcut key. It is case-sensitive, and very flexible.
Have fun getting it just as you like! You can customise the browser plugin too.

Cool
Thank you
I will wait for keyboard shortcuts for horizontal scroll.

Shift + Wheel already realized as horizontal scroll into build 40 of the viewer.

Re: Feature Request: Moving the page left and right by keyboard
Adobe Reader 9 has a better solution for this problem. It automatically changes the function of the cursor keys from previous page/ next page to scroll left/right if the page is zoomed and page down/page up could be used for moving to previous/next page. This is especially useful for double-columned books or documents with small fonts. I think a similar solution on the part of the PDF-XChange Viewer would be a good idea.

The problem with shift+wheel is that you have to use both keyboard and the mouse at the same time which might take away from your concentration on the text and it's not as easy as an all keyboard solution. Also Shift+wheel doesn't sound very intuitive.

Re: Feature Request: Moving the page left and right by keyboard
Shift scrollwheel is already used by Adobe Reader for horizontal scrolling, and by other applications. "Intuitive" is largely a matter of what you're accustomed too. Fortunately, one can customise shortcuts in PDF-XChange Viewer so anyone can modify the way the keyboard behaves to suit their personal preferences. (Right-click on any toolbar to open the customize dialogue).
There is nothing very intuitive about changing the behaviour of shortcut keys depending on the zoom level. IrfanView does this — scrolling large images, but moving to the next image with small images — and most users hate it.
Instead, modify your shortcuts for PageUp and PageDown.
