wrong character displayed (greek letter instead of P)

Hi, this pdf:

prodices an error, the wrong character is displayed (greek letter instead of P).

foxit displays the thing correctly though, so I assume the pdf is ok?

The PDF is OK. The problem lies with the Alphabetic Presentation Forms for fi, which are converted to Icelandic thorn Þ by PDF-XChange for some reason.

That's good. But how often does Xchange have this small rendering problems? in 5 days I've been using it it failed to open 1 pdf, and displayed one more wrong. I'm testing it so I can make a recommendation to two large communities of people. It's important fom me that it works well. Otherwise I'll look like a fool.

Which build are you using?
Anyway looks like problem is corrected in final build 40 (maybe not in 40.3 beta), which will be released soon.

Fixed in the latest build 40.4 (check for updates).

I'm using portable, build 40.3. 'Check for updates' is disabled.

updates via Help menu is just (actually reasonably) available in non-portable versions. download from the main download page again.
