The measurement tools are GREAT features for me, as I often need to mark up arch/eng drawings.
One feature request would be to add a drop down menu of common scales, or better yet add the ability to use fractions when entering the scale, e.g. enter 1/8 rather than 0.125. Some common measures are easy to remember (1/2=0.5, 1/8=0.125), but the occasional 3/16, or 5/8, and I have to do some pencil math to get the decimal equivalent.
A drop down menu of common scales, or the ability to enter fractions, would be great.

Re: Feature Request for measurement tools
But you are able to enter fractions now - just set that 3 pt is equal 7 inches, for example

Re: Feature Request for measurement tools
what if there was an auto set scale?
i commonly have to markup arch/eng drawings and there are occasions that drawings do not include a scale in which they are drawn. is there a way to calibrate the scale by clicking two points, entering that dimension, and the tool would be scaled for the page, or tool use?
and what about a feature that just "grabs" end lines, corners, etc.?

Re: Feature Request for measurement tools
cpynpst,
That's a rather old topic you've dug out here.
Our software is for Viewing and marking up of PDF documents and not an engineering tool, you know
That said your suggestion for the measurement tools is a reasonable one, but our development team is pretty busy at this moment working on other features, so I can not promise you if or when this will happen, but your request is noted and I will have the Project management consider it's usability/importance.
Best Regards,
Stefan
