Hello,
Looking for some support on this issue. My company has deployed Tracker Software's PDF Xchange Viewer Solution. It's a great product but we have one nagging issue with it. We have a PDF of some Terms and Conditions, on page 2 of this document the header is incorrectly displaying in what looks to be Russian characters. However when viewed with Acrobat Reader 7.0.7 this header displays correctly in English.
I have looked through the options available in Preferences but I was not able to find anything that would force PDF Xchange to interpret the document as an "English Only" document.
Please let me know if there is anything you need to facilitate resolution. Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: PDF displays fine in Acrobat Reader but not PDF Xchange
Which build do you use? If not latest - please try latest release (2.0.39.2) and/or latest beta (2.0.40.3, available here).
Anyway we need a file which will help us to reproduce the problem - or we will be not able to help. Bets way is to use Help->Report a problem from Viewer menu, including information about fonts and sample file.

Re: PDF displays fine in Acrobat Reader but not PDF Xchange
Having the same (or very similar) problem. PDF looks fine in Foxit and Adobe Acrobat (even 5.1).
But in PDF Xchange some characters are displayed totally wrong. As an example, see the attached test file. Open with Foxit and you see the difference. This happens in many PDFs. Prevents from using PDF Xchange as default viewer.
Would like to upload a small test PDF, but get the message "The extension pdf is not allowed." Strange.
So I have uploaded the zipped PDF here.

To make the difference more obvious, here is a screenshot of both views (just in case you do not have any other PDF viewer to compare
)
Again at uploading I get the message "The extension gif is not allowed." What's dangerous with a GIF file? Same with jpeg.
Uploading a zip file again...

Please update your viewer to the latest available build. If you still having the problems with build 40.5, please send a report using Help -> Report a problem.

Re: PDF displays fine in Acrobat Reader but not PDF Xchange
Thank you, I have had a pretty recent build, but not the very last. This seems now to have solved it.
Fine!
Also thanks for commenting on your upload rules.
