Hi
Maybe I can't see the wood for the trees!
Is it possible to mark up text as a mailto: or web URL?
I've added some extra text to an existing PDF that I'd like to make into a 'clickable' link.
The link tool doesn't *seem* to do what I want, I would prefer to make the text the link rather than adding a separate item on to the page.
Can this be done, and how?
I'm using v2.0.40.5
web and mailto URLs

Please update to the latest build here :
https://www.pdf-xchange.com/downloads/users/
and then open the Viewer and see : Tools -> Links
that should give you what you need - but it will require you add an extra link box to the page.

If posting files to this forum - you must archive the files to a ZIP, RAR or 7z file or they will not be uploaded - thank you.

Re: web and mailto URLs
Hi
Yes, I've updated to the latest version and can add a link to a web page. I now seem to have a problem with mailto: links, PDFXV seems to insist on adding http:// in front of the mailto: link which then renders it useless.
What am I doing wrong?

Re: web and mailto URLs
Hi
Please find attached the file I'm trying to modify. I've added a link for the web http://www.mutex.co.uk I am trying to add a link for the email address opencontact@mutex.co.uk
You'll see that there is already an email link on the last page that was added previously.
If I try and add mailto:opencontact@mutex.co.uk PDXV adds http:// to the front.
