There is no specific functionf for search, however you may extract text from pdf page by page and search in it. But if you need positions you should use PXCp_ET_GetElement and related functions - only it provide text positions.

Or you can use the PDF-XChange Viewer search option ...

Is there a way to use these function to highlight text at a certain position on a page?

The full search and highlight functionality will be added into the next build (NBuild > 41).
